Image Specifications for
Competition and Exhibition
Print Specifications
These apply to all Competitions and Annual Exhibition
Print Size
From en-print (3½” × 5” (89mm × 127mm)) 16” x 20” (400mm x 500mm).
Prints may be trade or home processed.
Print Mounts
All prints must be mounted on board 16” x 20” (400mm x 500mm).
Labelling the Mounts
All Prints entered must bear the authors name and image title on the reverse of the mount.
There should be no title or signing on the face of the print
Projected Digital Image (PDI) Specifications
Maximum Size of a Projected Digital Image 1600x1200 pixels in landscape format and entries should be submitted in sRGB mode.
Portrait (upright) images must not exceed 1200 pixels in height.
Add a Key Line
In order to separate the image from the background ALL IMAGES should have a 2 pixel frame/border around the image and within the overall size of 1600 x 1200 pixels.
The projector will fill any spare space with black.

File Format
All entries should be:
- .jpeg format.
- Colour space should be sRGB not Adobe RGB
- Maximum file size 2.1mgb
Titles:
- Each image must have a unique title that relates to the content of the image.
- Only the image title to be included in the file name
- Maximum number of characters in the file name is 32 (including spaces)
- File names should be in upper case and lower case letters
- DO NOT include your name with the title of the image file.
- The unique title must be used for entry of that image or of an identical Image into any and all Dudley Camera Club competitions.
- Titles should not include file extensions such as .jpg or .jpeg (or any other camera capture filenames such as NEF or IMG 471).
- Titles should not consist of words such as “untitled” or “no title”.
- Titles should not consist solely of numbers unless those numbers are prominently contained within the image, such as a contestant number in a race.
